The navy velvet against the black velvet panels looks way richer in person than in the photos. I wore them out for a full evening and the rubber sole kept them comfortable the whole time. The mid-top cut hits right at the ankle too.

The double side zippers make these so easy to slip on and off, even with the laces tied. The mix of navy and black velvet gives them a dressy edge that works with jeans or trousers, and the mid-top cut feels sturdy without being heavy.

The navy velvet is so rich in person, it almost looks black until the light hits it. Lacing them up feels almost unnecessary since the zippers let me slide them on in seconds.
