The patent leather panels catch the light way more than I expected, and the mid-top cut actually hugs my ankle without feeling stiff. Wore them straight out of the box for a full day and no break-in pain at all.

The double side zipper makes these so easy to slip on, and the patent leather really pops against the matte leather. Comfortable right out of the box with solid rubber sole grip.

Wore these out the first night and got three compliments before I even sat down. The patent leather panels catch light in a way the photos don't show, and the rubber sole has enough grip for wet pavement. Zipping them on instead of lacing every time has honestly ruined regular sneakers for me.
